Who We Are
Sound Furnishings is a husband and wife team curating and restoring timeless pieces while celebrating the craftsmanship of vintage design. Based in Upstate South Carolina with a dedicated showroom inside Atomic Furnishing and Design in Asheville, NC, we serve customers across Western North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and beyond.
Each item is carefully chosen for its quality, character, and story from authentic vintage stereo consoles and Mid-Century Modern furniture to curated vintage decor, artwork, and thoughtfully selected vintage clothing.
What began as a career in audio engineering evolved into a passion for preserving and enhancing vintage audio equipment and Mid-Century design. Today, we specialize in restoring stereo consoles with custom upgrades like Bluetooth compatibility, hand-sanding beautiful teak and walnut finishes, and honoring the original integrity of each piece.
